Sangay Dendup comes with 18 years of work experience in state-owned companies in Bhutan. He is a self-directed professional with work experience in finance, accounts and strategic management. He worked in Army Welfare Project Limited from 2005-2017 as the Head of the Administration and Finance Division and as General Manager for Corporate Planning & Business Development in Construction Development Corporation Limited from August 2017 to the present. During his tenure in CDCL, he was seconded to the National Service Project under His Majesty’s Secretariat for close to 3 years as the Head of the Project Affairs Department. He has developed and implemented strategic plans, performance management systems and SOPs of serval companies including the National Service Project.

He completed B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University (India) and a Master of Management (Financial Management) from Mahidol University in Thailand. He was awarded a Fellow CPA (FCPA) designation in 2022 by CPA Australia in recognition of his contribution to the finance & accounting industry.

I believe in quality constructions and have completed the design and build of various office buildings with Construction Development Corporation Ltd. and DHI INFRA Ltd. I have also worked with various private consultancy firms as freelance structural engineer and assisted with supervision of works executed by the firms (GS Architects, Woezer Associates, BSMT Architectural Dreams and LT Associates)
